Oktoberfest at Sambrook's Taproom — Four Saturdays of Steins, Wurst & Live Music in Wandsworth
Oktoberfest is Coming to Wandsworth
Grab your lederhosen. Sambrook's Taproom is throwing an Oktoberfest — four Saturdays of steins, wurst, pretzels and a live band, right here at the brewery.
From Saturday 26th September to Saturday 17th October 2026, we're bringing a bit of Munich to Ram Street. No plane, no queues, no Bavaria-price-tag.
What's On Each Saturday
- Beer in steins — proper big glasses, Oktoberfest style, with a curated selection of Oktoberfest and German-style beers on tap alongside the full Sambrook's line-up
- German sausages — bratwurst and wurst platters from the kitchen
- Fresh pretzels — warm, salted, made for a stein
- Live band from 7:30pm — pub bangers you'll actually sing along to
- Full taproom menu alongside the German specials — Neapolitan sourdough pizza still on the go
The Four Saturdays
- Saturday 26th September — opening weekend
- Saturday 3rd October
- Saturday 10th October
- Saturday 17th October — closing party
Oktoberfest programming runs from midday each Saturday, ramping up with a live band from 7:30pm and going late.
The Beer
You can't do Oktoberfest without the beer. We're pouring a curated selection of Oktoberfest and German-style beers on tap for the festival weeks only, alongside the full Sambrook's line-up on cask and keg. Ordered by the stein, drunk the way it's meant to be.
The Music (No Oompah, Sorry)
Every Saturday at 7:30pm, a live band takes over the taproom. Pub bangers, singalong energy, and the songs everyone knows the words to whether they'll admit it or not.
No oompah band — we're a Wandsworth taproom, not the Hofbrauhaus, and we know our lane. What we do know how to throw is a proper Saturday night with cold beer, warm pretzels and a room full of people committing to a chorus. That's the Oktoberfest we're serving.
Book Your Table
Entry is free — but tables go fast on Oktoberfest Saturdays. Booking is strongly recommended, especially for evening tables.
- Groups of 4–8 — the sweet spot for an Oktoberfest table
- Bigger groups (10+) — get in touch about the mezzanine or a private area
- Walk-ins welcome when space allows, but don't rely on it after 6pm
- Book online via the link above, or call the number in the event details
Dress the Part (Optional)
Lederhosen and dirndls are actively encouraged — but not required. Come as you are, or go full Bavaria. Either way, there's a stein with your name on it.
