Quiz Up at the Brewery — Sunday Quiz Night Returns to Sambrook's Taproom
Quiz Up at the Brewery is Here
Sunday quiz night is back at Sambrook's Taproom — and it's got a name.
Quiz Up at the Brewery launches Sunday 13th September at 7pm, and we're kicking off with the biggest prize we've ever put up: a £250 bar tab for the winning team.
Every Sunday after: £75 bar tab for the winners, £2.50 per person to play.
Bring a team. Bring a pizza order. Bring the mate who insists they know all the flags. This is the best kind of Sunday.
How It Works
- £2.50 per person entry, card only, paid on the night
- Teams of any size — but 7 or more players face a scoring penalty, so keep it tight
- Six rounds including a picture round, music round and general knowledge
- Roughly two hours — kicks off 7pm sharp, wraps around 9pm
- Kitchen open throughout — full Neapolitan sourdough pizza menu and full bar
- Winning bar tabs must be spent in one visit, within 6 weeks of the win — a proper reason to plan a big Sunday back
Turn up from 6:30pm to grab a table, get a round in and settle your team name.
The Prizes
Launch Night — Sunday 13th September
£250 bar tab. Winner takes all. Bigger than anything we've run before — a proper marker for the relaunch.
Every Sunday After
£75 bar tab for the winning team, every week.
That's £75 to spend on Sambrook's beer, wine, cocktails, pizza — whatever you fancy — for the price of a couple of coffees each.
One rule: winning bar tabs must be spent in a single visit, within 6 weeks. So gather the team, book the table, and make a night of it.
Meet Your Quizmaster — Tom Everatt
From Sunday 20th September, Tom Everatt takes the mic as Sambrook's resident quizmaster, every week.
Which means: two openings for the price of one. Week one is the £250 launch. Week two is Tom's first Sunday behind the mic — a fresh reason to bring the team back and settle in for the season.
Why Sunday?
Sundays are made for winding down. A pub quiz, a fresh Neapolitan sourdough pizza, a proper pint of Wandle and a slow walk home before Monday. That's the point.
The Taproom's beer garden and taproom are both open, DJs and match noise are off, and you get the room at its best — a Sunday-evening pub the way it should be.
Book Your Team
- Walk-ins welcome, but for the £250 launch on 13th September, booking is strongly recommended
- No team size limit — but keep it to 6 or fewer to avoid the 7+ penalty
- No booking fee — just secure your table
- Book online or call the number in the event details above
